Chad is playing his 14th year of amauter baseball. He played his first two years with Arlington before playing three years with Green Isle. After a three year stint with GI he returned to the A's. Chad started a early career with the A's as a batboy back in the early eighties. He was able to be around some A's legends like Odegaard, Discoll, Hartmann's O'Brien's, Haefs. Chad got to experience the A's 1985' State Championship as a batboy also. He joined the A's as a player in 91' and saw action in his first state tourney that year when Arlington was still a Class B team. Considered one of the old guys on the team Chad has seen some up and downs of A's baseball and has the longest active career on the young A's squad..Chad is 1992 Sibley East graduate and also a 1997 St. Cloud State graduate where he also played two years of baseball. Chad currently resides in Arlington with his wife Megan and son Caleb. He also is Special Education teacher at Sibley East Junior High School. |
